The Murad Resurgence anti aging set promises to have your skin looking better in just 30 days. The product claims to target hormonal aging. It restores moisture, exfoliates dead skin cells and increases firmness and elasticity. But does the product actually help lessen the signs of aging?
About Murad Resurgence Site
At first glance the Murad resurgence site is quite impressive, mainly because so much of the site is taken up with Dr. Murad’s credentials and experience in dermatology.
Upon closer inspection, one begins to wonder if the site is selling anti-aging products or the doctor himself. It seems as though more thought is given to Dr. Murad’s list of accomplishments than to the actual product itself.
Ironically, the Murad Resurgence anti-aging product is not one product but must actually be purchased in a set. One thing you can say is that the product does not make any outlandish promises as it simply promises to restore moisture which any good moisturizing cream can do.
Exfoliate dead skin cells which a good facial scrub does and increased firmness and elasticity. And one would expect a good anti-aging product to be able to accomplish this task.
While the resurgence set has some nice and harmless ingredients included in each of their products, only the anti-aging serum itself contains effective age fighting ingredients such as argireline and Matrixyl.
Neither the cleansing cream nor the night cream seems to contain any ingredients that have been proven effective for reducing wrinkles and increasing firmness.
Does Murad Resurgence Really Work?
Murad Resurgence does seem to moisturize the skin and even help to firm the skin of some reviewers. However, one must question why Dr. Murad requires that people who wish to use the anti aging serum also buy two other products that seem to serve little if any useful purpose in helping to eliminate the signs of anti-aging.
It seems as though by including two ingredients of little value a higher price can be charged for the one product that may prove to be of some help. One must question the ethics of a company that forces you to purchase products you don’t want or need to get a product that may work.
When one considers the product as a whole, you realize that there are other anti-aging products on the market that not only contain matrixyl and argireline-3 but other age fighting ingredients as well.
Many of these products work as good as or better than Resurgence’s anti-aging serum and you are not required to purchase products you don’t want to or need in order to use these other products.
While reviews seem to indicate that the anti-aging serum portion of the Murad Resurgence product line does work for some users, it contains only a couple of age fighting ingredients.
In addition, it is an expensive product made even more expensive by the company tacking on two unnecessary products, neither of which is designed to fight the signs of aging as a way of commanding a higher price.
People looking for a good anti-aging product would be better served by purchasing a good and effective anti-aging product that does not force you to buy additional unwanted products in order to make higher profits.
